Super Shock 4-Way Pool Shock is perfect to use at start-up and for weekly pool maintenance.  This extra-powerful swimming pool shock contains a powerful chlorine that dissolves faster and works four ways: Killing bacteria, controlling algae, destroying organic contaminants, and clarifying pool water.  This highly effective, multi-purpose pool shock sanitizes and shock treats your swimming pool, preventing the need for tough clean-up when used regularly and as directed. Super Pool Shock is composed of 47% calcium hypochlorite and is convenient and easy to use.  

Use one to two 1-lb. bags of pool shock per 11,500 gallons of pool water to:
