How to Match a Competitor's Price at PoolGear Plus

If you see an item listed for sale (excluding clearance and closeout) on another pool supply company's website showing a lower total price (including sales tax and shipping and handling charges) for exactly the same item you intend to purchase or have purchased on the past 30 days from PoolGear Plus, you are entitled to a refund for the difference in price (plus an additional discount if the item is part of our Price Match Plus program). (Example: If you buy an item for $100 total from PoolGear Plus and find the identical item for sale from one of our competitors for $90 total, PoolGear Plus will refund the difference of $10.) If we lower our own price on exactly the same item within 30 days of your purchase (excluding clearance and closeout), we will gladly refund the difference between the old and new prices upon your request.

We will only recognize lower competitor prices that come from authorized US dealers who have your item in stock at the time of your submission. An authorized dealer is a retailer that has been approved by the manufacturer to sell its products. Examples include:

If the lower price you find is being offered by a less well-known authorized dealer, a representative from PoolGear Plus will verify that the company has been approved by the manufacturer to sell that particular item. The Buy With Confidence policy does not apply to companies affiliated with PoolGear Plus, including but not limited to Pinch A Penny, Inc.

“Exactly the same item” means that the item is brand new and has the same model number, warranty, and accessories as the item from PoolGear Plus.  Comparison based on total item price at checkout including item price, sales tax, and all shipping and handling fees.  To submit your claim for a price match, provide a webpage printout dated prior to or within 30 days after your purchase to PoolGear Plus.  (Note: A PoolGear Plus representative will manually verify each submission.)  Submissions from price comparison websites are not acceptable.  The submitted webpage(s) must be from the retailer’s website with the name of the company, url, product name and description (including model number), and total item price including sales tax, shipping, and handling fees clearly visible.  The price before rebates must be shown.  You may be asked to furnish a product label image (including but not limited to pool chemical product labels) to ensure that the item is exactly the same as the one you purchased or intend to purchase from PoolGear Plus.  No coupons or special offers may be applied after the competitor's price has been matched (e.g. the total item price is not more than you would pay at a competitor's).  PoolGear Plus reserves the right to change or terminate our Buy With Confidence price matching policy and/or the Price Match Plus program without notice.  Call 888-718-7946 for more information on how to receive your PoolGear Plus Buy With Confidence or Price Match Plus credit.
