Green pool algae are a summer nuisance that sometimes make their home in our swimming pools. Not only are green algae unattractive, they also indicate that bacteria are in the pool and make it unsafe for swimmers. With the help of Suncoast® Chemicals Super Green Algaecide you can get rid of pool algae just in time for pool season!
Suncoast® Chemicals Super Green Algaecide should not be mixed with soap or other cleaners. Do not premix it with other water treating chemicals.
Directions for Use:
Dilute the appropriate amount of product with at least nine parts water and pour directly into pool water along the edges while the pool filer and pool pump are in operation. To allow time for even distribution in pool water, swimmers must allow 10 minutes after algaecide treatment before entering the pool.
At the start of pool season, if you pool is free of visible pool algae, apply 2 oz. of Super Green Algaecide per 5,000 gallons of pool water under sunny conditions for the most effective results.
If algae growth IS visible in the swimming pool, apply the initial dose of algaecide, then vacuum the pool after 24 hours to remove dead algae. If the pool is heavy with algae growth, first brush the algae spots, vacuum, clean and scrub the pool walls. Apply initial dose, then vacuum remaining algae debris.
Apply 1 oz. of product per 5,000 gallons of pool water every 5 to 7 days.
Note: After heavy or prolonged rainfall, high prevailing temperatures, or heavy swimming use, add the maintenance dose more frequently.
Do not apply this product in a way that will contact adults, children, or pets either directly or through drift.
